While the Data Service Center continues to develop cutting-edge applications such as the Absence Request System and Professional Development, we are always looking to improve our long proven systems. DSC’s Discipline Reporting (RAP) has recently received an upgrade that makes this application even more of an essential tool in schools. DSC's Referral Action Profile is a comprehensive, school-tailored discipline system allowing school administrators to track student behavior incidents. This application has now been upgraded to include electronic referrals. The upgrade streamlines the referral process and enhances communication between teachers and administrators. Using pen and paper to write a referral is now outdated as the new RAP with electronic referrals allows the teacher to input the referral directly into the online application. When a teacher completes an online referral, an e-mail notifies the appropriate administrator of the existence of a new referral. Administrators can input the corrective action taken for each referral and an e-mail notifies the teacher of the referral’s outcome.
