Finding Your School Feeder Pattern

Recently, the Data Service Center expanded and improved its online School Feeder Search to make it easier for you to find your schools. The new lookup provides resident school feeder patterns associated with home addresses within the Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Christina, Colonial, and Red Clay Consolidated School Districts. You can now explore the database, which is derived and updated daily from the eSchoolPlus Geocode data maintained by each local school district, in multiple ways. Using only the first few letters of your street or development name, the system will return a window of available streets or developments from which to choose. Simply click the appropriate address range to determine the elementary, middle, and high schools in your feeder assignment.

The School Feeder Search includes many helpful links new to the system as well. For example, the development link brings back all streets within that development, allowing you to click on any street to view the school feeder assignment. Links to the District and School web sites have also been added along with a Google mapping link.

A new “Preferred School Search” is also available. This is an alternate, or reverse, method of searching and acquiring a school feeder pattern for a desired school of attendance. Simply choose both the district and the desired school from available dropdown lists and click “Search”. The system will provide a list of development names and non-development areas for your preferred school of attendance. You can view more detailed information by clicking on any of the development or non-development links. To utilize these new searches, click the “School Feeder Search” link provided on this page.
