Message from the SuperintendentOctober 2008 Dear Friends, The month of October has presented our students with many opportunities to demonstrate what they have learned in their courses of study. The first marking period will end on October 29, 2008, and report cards will be issued on November 7, 2008. October is also the month when high school students celebrate homecoming. Special football games and dances are scheduled every weekend from September 27, 2008 through October 31, 2008. Click here to view all the events scheduled in our schools. I hope that parents will have an opportunity to attend the homecoming games and show their support to the student athletes who began practicing in August for the fall season. Before you know it, November will be upon us. Schools are closed on Election Day (November 4, 2008), and on that day I encourage all students, staff and parents to exercise their constitutional right to vote. In closing, our students and staff continue to generate a tremendous amount of positive energy, an energy that supports their efforts in becoming “the best they can be.” Sincerely, Robert J. Andrzejewski, Ed.D. |
