November 2008
Dear Friends,
The holiday season is quickly approaching. The leaves have turned to their brilliant fall colors and are falling from the trees. Holiday songs are already being played on some radio stations and ads for winter coats and hats are in the papers and mail each day.
Our students continue working hard in the classrooms and student athletes will soon begin preparing for the winter sports seasons. Practice for the winter sports begins on November 14, 2008.
As we look ahead, parent conferences will be held the week of November 24th for all elementary and middle schools. All schools are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.
Thanksgiving is a special time for all families. During these difficult financial times in our country, our schools will continue their tradition of supplying food and other necessities to those in need within their communities. This spirit of giving that is found in our schools is unique and helps make Red Clay schools an integral part of their communities.
In closing, I want to thank all of you for supporting the students we serve in our schools and wish you the best during the upcoming month.
Sincerely,
Robert J. Andrzejewski, Ed.D.
