Steel Drum Program Begun at Central School Middle school students at The Central School attended a steel drum concert on Oct. 3 conducted by Mr. Harvey Price, University of Delaware percussion instructor and steel drum ensemble expert.
In addition to participating as the audience, twenty students were also given the opportunity to learn how to play the steel drums.

A.I. Middle School Wins Technology Grant Alexis I. DuPont Middle is one of only three schools in Delaware – and the only non-charter school – to receive a technology grant which will equip the school with new computers and other equipment.
AIMS Principal Theodore Boyer said the school was notified over the summer that they had won a $312,000 Title II eMINTS grant that will be used to purchase technology for the seventh grade class. Click here to read more on this story.
